Working as an environment artist for in-house Quixel Megascans based environments
Working as the lead artist for Megascans asset assemblies. Some of the responsibilities included:
- Lead and manage the assembly team
- Provide art direction to the team where necessary
- Creation of AAA production assemblies in Unreal Engine based on multiple different biomes
- Push asset quality through regular reviews and annotated feedback
- Assist members of the team with personal development, portfolio building and personal artworks
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines to problem solve and deliver assets
- Create and maintain project documentation
- Actively researching and exploring better strategies and methodologies for creating effecient workflows and
techniques
Worked as a specialized texture artist, primarily focusing on materials/textures for the Archviz industry (as well as general decals, brushes, metals and other surfaces). Responsibilities included:
Creation of AAA quality specialized PBR maps (marbles, granite, parquets, tiles) mainly for the Archviz industry
- Creation of decals, imperfections and brushes
- Assisting in scanning surfaces
- Processing scanned data through a specialized photogrammetry workflow using Adobe Lightroom, RealityCapture,
3Dsmax and photoshop
- R&D, testing and troubleshooting proprietary tools to successfully deploying hundreds of high quality assets to
the megascans library
- Create and maintain multiple documentations
- Actively researching and exploring better strategies and methodologies for creating effecient workflows and
techniques
